After completing an extensive vetting process to join the Trusted Trader network, the team at Heatable began using the endorsement in its email follow-up journey, targeting customers who had completed an online quote but not placed an order. The follow-up email led to a 42% increase in conversions – the company’s highest-performing email to date.
The company, which helps consumers start their renewable journey with solar and battery storage solutions, uses its Which? endorsement across publications, at trade shows and in customer support conversations. The endorsement strongly resonates with UK consumers, providing a clear vote of confidence and demonstrating Heatable’s commitment to quality and trust. A year after its endorsement, and with the launch of the Which? Home Energy Planning Service, Heatable took part in a commission-based member promotion offering Which? members a discount on the cost of solar panel, battery and EV charger installations. The offer was promoted to Which? members through weekly and monthly newsletters, in-content features, podcasts and targeted solus emails. It was also featured within the Home Energy Planning Service.
With revenue of over £2.6 million in 12 months and more than 2,500 panels now installed on UK homes, the partnership has not only been a hugely successful business venture but has also demonstrated how collaborations like this can drive the delivery of carbon-reducing products in the UK. It is making a tangible, real-world difference.

Heatable was founded in 2017 by two brothers and helps customers get a fixed price for boilers, solar panels and batteries without the need for a salesperson. Customers choose from a range of fixed-price options and an installation date that suits them. A selected local installer then completes the installation using the products chosen by the customer on their preferred date.
